Easy 30-Day Return Policy

At JewelClues, we are committed to delivering exceptional quality and a transparent shopping experience. To ensure clarity, consistency, and fairness, this Return Policy explains return eligibility based on Dress Collection Type and Size, as displayed on each product page and confirmed at checkout.

Please review your dress type and return eligibility before purchasing to avoid confusion.

Ready-To-Ship Collection

  • Ready-To-Ship Size (XS–XL): Eligible for return. Full-price items are refunded to the original payment method; discounted, sale, or promo code purchases are refunded as store credit only.

Made-To-Order Collection

  • Made-To-Order Size (US 2–16): Eligible for return for store credit; 50% restocking fee applies.
  • Custom Size / Personalized Orders: Final sale; not eligible for return, exchange, refund, or store credit.

General Return Rules & Guidelines

  • Return Timeframe: RMA requested within 7 days of delivery, postmarked within 21 days, and received within 30 days.
  • Condition of Returns: Must be unworn, unwashed, with tags, hygienic liners, no damage, and complete sets.

Discounted Items & Promo Codes

  • By using a promo code, customers acknowledge applicable Promo Terms.
  • Ready-To-Ship collection items purchased with promo codes >24.99% discount are final sale.
  • Made-To-Order Collection items purchased using any promo code are final sale.
  • Other eligible discounts/sale items can be returned for store credit only.

Handcrafted Variations & Product Representation

Each JewelClues dress is handcrafted, so natural variations may occur in stitching, bead placement, fabric texture, or color due to artisanal processes. These are not defects. Product images are for reference; actual dress color and appearance may vary by fabric batch, lighting, or screen settings.

Damaged or Defective Items

We understand it can be disappointing to receive a dress that is defective, damaged, or not as ordered. Please inspect your dress immediately upon arrival and contact us within 7 days if any issues are found. Once your case is reviewed and verified, we may offer a reasonable resolution, which can include a partial refund as store credit or, in certain cases, a replacement in the same style and variant. To ensure eligibility, photos or other documentation may be requested for review. Refunds to the original payment method are not offered, and replacement orders may take the same processing time as the original order. All decisions regarding damaged or defective items are final and binding.

Fees & Exclusions

  • $15 return processing fee per Ready-To-Ship Collection item, $25 per Made-To-Order Collection item.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • No alteration reimbursement or support for alterations.
  • Gift cards are non-refundable.

How to Make a Return

  • Returns must be requested by sending an email to hello@jewelclues.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and instructions.
  • Within the Contiguous United States: We provide a prepaid return label upon request.
  • Outside the Contiguous United States: Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges, including duties, taxes, insurance, and carrier fees. Return to:

  • Any applicable import duties, taxes, or customs fees are the responsibility of the customer. In the event of a return, JewelClues is not liable for reimbursing any such charges incurred.
  • Include your order number inside the package, remove old labels, and use an insured carrier. JewelClues is not responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit.

Refunds

  • Eligible full-price Ready-To-Ship items are refunded to the original payment method. Other eligible returns are refunded as store credit.
  • Eligible Made-To-Order Size returns are subject to a 50% restocking fee and refunded as store credit only.
  • Sale Items: For eligible sale items or eligible items purchased using any promo code, refunds are issued as store credit only. Final sale items are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
  • We do not provide alteration services, support, or reimbursement for any alteration fees.
  • Refunds will be processed after inspection of returned items to ensure eligibility criteria are met. Allow up to 10 business days for processing.

Important Note

  • Convertible or 2-in-1 dresses: Sold as a single, complete set; partial or incomplete returns will not receive a refund or store credit.
  • JewelClues is not responsible for packages lost, misplaced, refused, damaged in transit, or returned due to incorrect address or unpaid duties/taxes. No reshipment, refund, or store credit will be issued in such cases.
  • JewelClues is also not responsible for non-JewelClues items returned to our warehouse.
  • Late or Unauthorized Returns: Will not be accepted. Returns received after 30 days are ineligible for refund or store credit.
  • Returned to Sender / Refused Packages: Packages that are refused, unclaimed, or returned to the sender will not be refunded. Customers may request reshipment at their own expense. Reshipment will only be processed if the customer agrees to pay all associated costs, including original shipping, return shipping, handling fees, insurance, carrier surcharges, customs duties, taxes, and any additional fees charged by the carrier, which may exceed standard shipping rates or the order value.

    JewelClues reserves the right to deny reshipment at its sole discretion. JewelClues is not responsible for any loss, damage, delay, or additional costs resulting from refused shipments, returned-to-sender packages, failed delivery attempts, or carrier handling once an order has been dispatched.

  • Excessive Returns: JewelClues reserves the right to limit service to customers with excessive return activity.
  • Exchanges: Please review our Exchange Policy.
  • Cancellations: Please review our Cancellation Policy.

  • Terms of Service: Review our Terms of Service.
  • Policy Exceptions: Any situations not addressed will be reviewed by JewelClues and resolved at our sole discretion. All decisions are final.
