SHIPPING

Quick Shipping Overview:

  • Ready-To-Ship dresses usually ship within 2 to 4 business days.
  • Priority & Express orders placed before 11:00 AM PST ship within 3 business days.
  • Priority & Express orders placed after 11:00 AM PST ship within 4 business days.
  • Made-To-Order dresses — including standard-size Made-To-Order, personalized, and bespoke dresses — require up to 45 business days for tailoring before they are shipped.
  • Shipping is available to all 50 U.S. states; no APO/FPO addresses.
  • Customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and fees.

Please note: All processing and delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Actual timelines may vary depending on order type, shipping method, and other external factors.

Shipping Policy

JewelClues.com accepts orders 24 hours a day, every day of the week. Orders are processed in the order they are received, and expedited shipping orders, such as Priority and Express shipping, are elevated in priority to meet the delivery deadline. Orders are shipped from the nearest warehouse location. JewelClues ships to all 50 U.S. states.

Ready-To-Ship dress orders placed are usually processed and shipped within 2 to 4 business days from the time the order is placed. Priority and Express orders placed before 11:00 AM PST will be processed and shipped out within 3 business days. Priority and Express orders placed after 11:00 AM PST will be processed and shipped out within 4 business days. The day an order ships does not count as a day in transit. Orders placed from Friday to Sunday will be processed the following Monday and shipped within 2 to 3 days. Postal services do not pick up or deliver on weekends.

Dresses marked as Made-to-Order on our website need up to 45 business days for tailoring before we ship them—no matter whether ordered in Standard Size or Custom Size.

**Due to the high volume of orders during holiday season, you may experience extended processing time up to 7 business days.**

We currently do not ship to APO or FPO addresses. Orders with a shipping address different from the billing address may be subject to review; the customer will be contacted if this occurs. This can delay shipping time. JewelClues cannot guarantee same-day expedited shipping when an order is placed on hold for review. Tax rate is based on the shipping address and not the billing address.

LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

- JewelClues is not liable for lost or stolen packages.

- If the package shows delivered to your address but is missing, you must report the loss to us within 7 days. Once reported, we will help launch an inquiry with our carrier about the lost package and attempt to have it recovered. If the carrier declares the package a complete loss due to carrier negligence, we will reship your order at no charge only if stock is available and at our sole discretion.

- We are not responsible for packages delivered to the wrong address due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.

SUSTAINABLE SHIPPING & FULFILLMENT LOCATIONS

With sustainability in mind, we ship directly from our factories or centralized fulfillment centers to reduce environmental impact. Instead of mass-producing garments, we create or source smaller, more focused collections that better meet your needs and reduce waste.

Most of our shipping originates from the USA and China/Hong Kong:

  • Dresses labeled as "Ready-To-Ship" are typically processed tag-free and dispatched from our China / Hong Kong location.
  • Dresses labeled as "Made-To-Order" are handcrafted and shipped from the USA.

This hybrid fulfillment model helps us reduce excess inventory and keep our carbon footprint low, while still offering global delivery. Processing and delivery times may vary depending on item type and location.

SHIPPING DESTINATION RATES

JewelClues offers Standard & Express / Premium shipping on all orders. Shipping Rates and Terms are subject to change without notice. For all orders over $200, packages may require a signature upon delivery. If a signature is unobtainable and a package is returned to us, shipping charges will be charged to the customer. Express Shipping rates are dynamic and updated regularly by shipping providers. Please check express shipping rates in your shopping cart before making payment.

DUTIES AND TAXES

Important Notice for All Customers, Including U.S. Orders

Additional Charges and Potential Delays

Due to recent changes in global trade policies — including new or increased tariffs and duties — some shipments may be subject to additional charges by customs or regulatory authorities. These fees are not included in product prices and are the responsibility of the customer.

Orders may also experience customs-related delays or extended administrative processing, which could impact delivery timelines. While we work hard to process and ship orders promptly, we are unable to control these external delays.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information on tariffs or import duties, we recommend contacting your local customs office. If you need assistance, feel free to reach out to our customer service team at hello@jewelclues.com.


Customers are responsible for paying all duties, taxes and other fees levied once your package reaches the country of destination. Duties on goods can vary widely depending on the product and the country of manufacture. Other charges and duties may also apply depending on the items. Duty fees will not be refunded on any type of returns. For more information, please contact your local customs office.

Shipping carriers’ local country affiliates will charge the recipient all applicable duties, taxes, and/or brokerage fees C.O.D. in the local currency at the time of delivery or as per local practices. All taxes, duties and customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient. Your local post office or carrier can give you information on accepted payment methods for duties, taxes, and other fees collected upon delivery.

TRACK PACKAGES

Generally, orders are shipped via USPS, DHL, and e-packets and delivered by local post or its affiliates. When your order ships, we send a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a direct link to track your package’s journey. You can also track your order anytime on our "Track Your Order" page.

RETURNED TO SENDER & REFUSED PACKAGES

Packages returned to the sender will be refunded as store credit (valid for 30 days) after deducting applicable shipping charges and a handling fee equal to 50% of the order value. However, no refund or store credit will be issued for:

  • Packages that are abandoned, lost, or refused.
  • Packages returned due to an incorrect shipping address or unpaid duties and taxes.
  • Cases where the carrier is unable to deliver the package after multiple attempts. In such cases, whether the package is returned to us or discarded by the carrier, we are not responsible, and no refund or store credit will be issued.

Note: We are unable to make changes to orders once placed. To ensure proper delivery, please make sure your address is entered correctly and includes all relevant information. The use of correct abbreviations, street numbers, building or apartment numbers, and route information (if applicable) is critical to ensuring delivery. JewelClues is not responsible for lost, misplaced, or incorrectly delivered shipments due to incorrect address information provided at purchase.

All processing, tailoring, and delivery timelines are estimates only and not guaranteed. This includes standard shipping, express shipping, and any expedited tailoring services. Actual delivery time may vary due to factors beyond our control.

RESTRICTION

We may restrict orders with a maximum merchandise sub-total purchase amount limit of $1000 or a maximum purchase items limit of 20 items per order, whichever comes first.
